JOTA-JOTI 2026 is nearly here!
From 16 to 18 October 2026, Scout groups around the world will be getting on the air for the largest annual international Scouting event.
Jamboree On The Air gives young people the opportunity to speak to Scouts in other parts of the UK and across the world using amateur radio. Contacts can be made using HF, VHF and UHF radio as well as digital voice systems such as D-STAR and DMR.
You don’t need to be an experienced radio operator to get involved. With support from licensed radio amateurs, Scout groups can set up stations, introduce young people to radio communications and discover how far their signals can travel.
Whether you’re planning a full weekend station or simply making a few contacts during a meeting, JOTA is a great opportunity to combine amateur radio with international Scouting.
We’ll be adding useful frequencies, digital talkgroups and other resources to Radio Scouting UK to help groups prepare.
