Dstar Reflector XLX-005 has allowed Radio Scouting UK to use module J as the new Jota Reflector. XLX is a new version of the old REF system which is still widely used in DStar. XLX-005J has allowed us to link systems to the FreeDMR talk group 907.

hi. I’m with the Northampton Scout ARG. Along with myself there are a number of other leaders who are new to DMR and all that it entails.
We tend to use TGIF 36250 and a couple of BM talk groups
We all have Anytone D878 UV Radio and duplex top hat on raspberry pi. running Pi-star.
In simple instructions how do we configure hot spot / pi-star and the codeplug to allow us access to the Radio scouting talkgroup.

Hi Karrl, Have a look at the FreeDMR network. They will be more than happy to set you up your own Talk group and as everything is opensource on the network it will open you up to more options.
